Tamara Deprez, Head of Yahoo! Maktoob Research
Tamara Deprez started up Yahoo! Maktoob Research in May 2006 and succeeded in making it a real research product for professionals in the marketing and research industry in and outside Dubai.
Before launching Yahoo! Maktoob Research, she spent six years working in online quantitative and qualitative research with leading international research agencies in Europe and the Middle East: at TNS NIPO in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) for 2.5 years and at Motivaction International in Amsterdam for 2.5 years. She also headed up IPSOS’ Qualitative Department in Dubai (the United Arab Emirates) for 1 year. Tamara has experience in print media research, lifestyle research, consumer research and marketing consultancy within different industry sectors. She holds a diploma from SPSS Benelux, which enables her to work confidently with multivariate techniques, such as regression, factor and correspondence analysis.
